I am a writer, editor, and lecturer with over ten years of experience in creative writing, academic and market research, communications, editing, and content development. I have a PhD in English Literature from the University of Minnesota and am the co-founding Editor of Stillpoint Magazine. My first novel Nothing was published by Two Dollar Radio, and my short fiction has appeared in various independent publications.

Currently, I teach Fiction and Creative Nonfiction in Augsburg University's MFA program, where I work with students on questions of craft. I am also the In-House Writer at St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development, where I write about children’s mental health including relevant social determinants, craft narratives of all kinds, and produce texts for all marketing, communications, and community-outread needs. I also provide independent editing, writing-coaching, and manuscript consultations to clients writing across disciplines and genres.  I am passionate about using my skills and knowledge to create and share meaningful and impactful narratives to support organizations and businesses, engage with stakeholders, and inspire positive change in the world.
